Notes on Art Section Art is a vital tool. It can help people think non-standard thoughts. It can be a way to explore and expand perception, stave off boredom, create meanings, explore value, legitimize subjectivity, communicate non-verbal thought, and substantiate atemporal intuitions. Besides, it's a hell of a lot of fun. I am an artist living in Southern California. I have worked with painting, drawing and electronic sculpture.
